Description

Checks for every selected switch if loopback-detection is globally enabled. Reports the total number of interfaces that have loopback-detection enabled per switch with severery INFORMATION or ERROR when the number of interfaces is less than 80% of the total number of interfaces.

Credentials

OmniVista 2500 NMS uses the CLI credentials associated to the switch, determined by the Discovery Profile.

Input

When launching the script, select the switches you want to run the script on.

Output

Script output can be found in OmniVista 2500 NMS menu ADMINISTRATION > Audit > Audit Log View Home > Configuration > cliscripting.

<switch name>: loopback-detection enabled on <count loopback> out of <count total> interfaces.
